No it just extracts metldr from your nor/nand dump the easy way but you still have to fire up linux and then you have to use this metldr file to use with metldrpwn to get the personal key - then you can again use this tool to go from cex to dex

That's what I meant, the fix makes it possible (as I understand) to get bluray movies working on DEX, and DEX already able to run homebrew (without peek/poke) and the ability to play original disc 3.55+ games.. so in all it get's you the 3 items I talked about.. So al in al to me, that's kinda a CFW, at least for the stuff I want to use it for (I don't care about backups)..

I did but my linux or cex to dex knowledge is not that great - call it like you want to but I am just tryining to help and I don't know another way for converting cex to dex without linux but a proven dev or someone with bigger knowledge can maybe proof me wrong but I see your frustration because u can't get anything to work.. im fine playing mlb and told people that wanted to know how to it - so you can ask gamba for example if I am lying or not

ok, that i am about to try. peek and poke does work, as i have tested right after that dexlove release. on irc they said it has only standard pnp patches which were incorrect at first

Okay let me try it the other way - it took me 3 days to get cex to dex working because I never did any reading on it before and have almost zero linux knowledge. While trying to accomplish this I often looked for tools to automatically do steps for me but the time searching for these tools/answers wasn't worth it in the end - I would just recommend to use the tutorial from bleh or the pastie I posted and live with the linux stuff because I think that it is the only way and following the easy tuts doesn't need alot of time.
