I got a 3.55 kmeaw ps3 with me.
And no TB dongle.

1) A friend got hold of ICO/SOTC copy for himself, and i planned to copy the game to my ps3's internal HDD.
Tried reading here, but nobody seems to have a way to patch the file copied via retail.

Pls if anybody has found a solution, then pls do mention it here.


2) Still havent been able to locate a 3.55 patched dump/eboot for Batman AC.
And as i dont have a TB dongle, am i still not in a position to play the game ?

Well the reason you cant find a patch is because the only one there is is for the true blue. buy that or figure out how to use a DEX machine to dump decrypted eboots from ram and you can play this game.

SOTC/ICO has a 3.55/3.41 eboot fix from duplex. No idea if it was a PSN version or the disc version, but I clocked em both on 3.55 kmeaw

BAC requires TB,... for now... I bet a free solution is just around the corner in the light of recent CEX 2 DEX evolution.

You info is wrong. SOTC's dump is 3.55 enabled and a fix for 3.41 exists as well.


I want to fix the eboot after dumping via legit disc and my system is on 3.55.

Boy, i just hope Batman eboot fix arrives asap. Been so long that i have the game dumped but lack of eboot and TB is just making the wait longer.


Can you pls link me up/provide more info on the 3.55 eboot fix for SOTC? I only found full game dump which was already fixed for 3.55. And i dont plan on dwnloading the full game.

You could try google for just the 3.55 patch, I just checked and only found the 3.41 patch, which I could be wrong, but it should work for 3.55?

Filestube yields a depositfiles link (tested working) when you search "ICO and Shadow of the Colossus FW 3 41 Eboot Patch PS3 DUPLEX" which is 7.65mb rather than downloading the 8gb file.

Hope that helps, if not let me know an I'll try upload my eboot/usrdir or something.

^ Yea i have searched already a lot Defaultdnb.
The eboot fix for 3.41 is indeed the 7.xx MB file, but that wont do.

And downloading the entire 3.55 fixed game dump of 8GB just doesnt seems logical.

If you can supply usrdir and the eboot (which i think are the only stuff req) that ll be great


PS: I, to the best of my knowledge, have this understanding that those 2 files are the ones which are required. If anything else is needed.. then i am abs unaware. Do enlighten me regarding the same.

You tried 3.41 fix?

My usrdir (minus the massive psarcs for ico and sotc) is about 78mb, I'll upload it and you can see if it works.

My copy is BCES01097.

No i didnt tried the 3.41 fix.
Reason being that cuz its for 3.41.. i didnt bothered to take a second look at it. Maybe being a bit finicky.


Abt the files we need to substitute for the game to work on 3.55..

Shdnt the fixed eboot for 3.55 be enough ?

Why wouldn't the 3.41 work? I've got 3.41 games working on my 3.55. Any game for a lower firmware should work on a higher one. Unless it's a backup on a firmware higher than 3.55 that doesn't have a fix.

That isnt the case always.
When i upgraded from 3.41 to 3.55, many of my games went down. They had been backed up on 3.41 via my own legit games and they wont play on the 3.55 kmeaw.
