You can create multiple PKGs and press in ★ Install Package Files and select Install All

In XMBM+ the option "Install All Packages" is available when you press in Install Package Files > Standard Package Location.
(you should put the PKG files in the root of your USB device)

yeah I thought that I had used it since switching to xmbm+ but it not longer seems to be there for me... perhaps I am not updated to the newest one, will need to check.

I confirmed it using my XMBM+ mod I don't see why you don't get the option, if the official XMBM+ and my mod are almost the same XMLs.

If it is a PSN game just get the numbered packages like part1 par2 part3 , then crack package ,etc

Just extract them start with the part1 <= copy part 2 over part 1 to over write the files then you copy the part 3 over wright same folder,etc

Than use Astools , make package tool , browes to the NPUS???? PSN folder & check off make [X] to create a config, should auto generate a config for executing the PSN game off dev_hddo like a normal PSN style game package & icon in XMB if you use the real param.

You can even load copy the fix package after extracted over the NPUS??? folder to make it a full fixed package then create a edat pkg separate if needed .

I made PSn packages with ASTools & worked perfect. Quite easy for PSn games .

The reason of the 2 icons for XMBM in my mod, is because if you delete XMBM+ by mistake you lose the "Install Package Files" and you have to reinstall your CFW. So I install main features of the XMBM in the flashed XML, and the additional/optional features in the HDD (the 2nd icon).

//end of off-topic

The edat file is a license/unlock file used by game developers to activate the games that you purchase.

Some games only need the edat file to active them or their DLCs. However, a .rif (rap) file is also needed in most of the cases to activate the game or the DLC or both.
