i got a new 360 slim 4gb with the dash # 2.0.13599.0...which i know can be rgh'd

but i also think its a corona motherboard....which i heard somewhere it can't be rgh'd....i looked and seen the manufacturing date was 11/11...thats why i assume its a corona.

im a noob 360 owner and just wanna do something with it lol

They just released a beta version of the rgh glitch for corono, but results should atill be experimental. Wait for CR3 in a few weeks, and I think you are in luckxxx.

That beta release for Corona's only works on 16mb versions (that had a HDD included from new) so your 4GB is 100% un-hackable right now.

I'd keep it as is, if you update to play on Live before getting your CPU key when the 4GB hack is released (MS stopped people from getting their CPU key on the latest updates already), you might not ever get to hack it. Leave it on 13599 and keep reading the news from the Xbox scene!

thanks, ive been dieng to play minecraft lol...and was about to update out of desperation....can i play regular bought games without updating my dash?

No problem, yes you can play regular disk/Arcade games once they're not newer than the 14719 update (the one where MS stopped Xell).

I can't find any index of which games need which system update, but I'd stick with older games to be sure! It will ask if you want to update if you do play something newer, but better safe than sorry and not play new releases until there's a breakthrough on the 4GB's!

If it auto connects to Live it will ask you to update also. I'd unplug the router, boot Xbox and disable Live in family settings or mess up the wifi/wired settings, then plug back in the router. Just to be 100% safe!
