BTW, I find this 'fear' for Sony to be quite pathetic really. Note - you're giving a failing Japanese company that is on the verge of bankruptcy everything on a single platter by you being 'scared'. They're weak, they're discredited, they're failing, and the last thing they want to do right now is acting like a moron again like they did last year unless they want to lose even more money. You giving in to 'fear' is what makes you the maffia's whipping boy so they can collect your money from you every month. Geohot found that out - Mathie found that out - numerous people found it out. They have smarter and better minds at their HQ and they don't need some worn-out twenty something in his basement. Well, thanx for letting me know what you're really like and really don't have any sense for someone's character except projecting your own on others.. You just told the whole world you're no better than any of the dev's that withhold the DEX info as you weren't sharing the information yourself, so shut up about other dev's not wanting to divulge anything..

It's plainly obvious that you filter your Dutch way of thinking and speaking mannerisms through a pseudo-American filter and out of it comes some garbled emotional rant that really goes nowhere. That's the only thing I can think of why none of what you wrote applies to me.

I never had a problem until they did what they did with OtherOS. They removed it for their convenience and thought nothing of us that prevented the ps3 from being a total disaster; because it was us early adopters that helped sony by buying their $500-600 piece of kit, and what did we get in return? Agreed there, nobody is expecting sony to just let themselves get raped, but when they screw me over because they are pro-actively defending themselves I have a problem. Sony can't be that delusional to actually believe the ps3 would not get hacked if people REALLY got into it. Hmmm, iirc you are talking about Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer being bundled with Windows OS? I don't think it was that they blocked installs of Opera/Netscape or different media players, they just made it annoying I think.

Still, despite that fact the things sony have done to protect themselves goes way above and beyond what they should do in my view. If you can't protect yourself without attacking me, then we have problems.
