LOL it's meant to stand out and alert noobs, but somehow they find the smaller "new thread button" before seeing the HULK green on the banner!?!

Yeah well, I am getting tired of the "Yes you can downgrade X.XX but you need a HWF" msg, I write it daily.

I'm going to take a different approach, the next person who is going to ask if he can downgrade is getting this msg: "Look / Read & Click the status banner" and that's it, they are on their own.

If they only did look around a little (not even using the search-function) they can find all t he info they need....

You should have the response readied in your copy/paste keys

No you can not jailbreak <insert fw version here>, there is no jailbreak available for that yet.

As long as your PS3 is NOT a 3k series slim, one you can downgrade by getting a hardware flasher, such as progskeet or E3 flasher, and a downgrade dongle.

PS3 3k series are unable to be downgraded even with hardware.
