http://www.mediafire.com/?dglsyd7e8qp820y 2.1 if anyone needs/missed/deleted it.

Testing out 2.2 now to check out this apploader error... brb

EDIT:

Ok tested 2.2 and with a disc in the drive it always loads the disc rather than the iso: i'm guessing you dont have a disc in the drive and are getting the apploader error (with a gc disc in I never received that error message).

Checked out what people are saying about it over at GBATEMP:
Ok, it just clicked for me (assuming I'm not just completely wrong here) the issue is that in v2.2 Crediar upped the config version.

- Before DML r52 there wasn't a version (reported config version 0 I'm guessing) since they used a boot.bin file to pass settings (in DM(L) Booter this is the "old" boot method setting.
- After that and right up to DM v2.0 there was config version version 1 which was passed from the loader in RAM and not in a boot.bin file. (This was DM(L) Booter's "new" boot method setting.)
- in DML v1.5 boot.bin booting was removed but from r52 until v1.4b they could accept either config v0 (old) or config v1 (new). After it was removed, for DML v1.5 and up (including DM), if you tried to use the "old" boot.bin method, it would just not see any "new" config in the RAM, assume it's being run from the disk channel and boot the retail disk in the drive. If that disk happened to be a Wii game it would get confused and report the "apploader size 0" error.
- 2.1 changed the config format since it swapped the NoDisk setting for the Widescreen setting (config v2) but it was still reporting config v1 to the loader. The only problem that caused was that it confused the NoDisk setting which it would have ignored previously as a Widescreen setting. No big deal.
- 2.2 actually now correctly reports config v2 to the loader and the loader doesn't know what to do with it so the loader is going back to the old boot.bin file method. Dm v2.2 then just sees that there is NO configuration in the RAM so again assumes it was the Disk Channel that loaded it and tries to load the disk resulting in the same errors as before.

If everyone else had already figured this out, that's okay. I'm just kinda slow sometimes. One way or the other, I think some that don't actually try and detect the version will still work just with the little NoDisk/Widescreen mixup. I'm assuming GX is the one that actually tried detecting the correct version and failed since FileTrip Download Link WiiFlow, DML Booter and CFG (to my knowledge, I may be wrong, though) had a setting telling it which one to use.
AFAIK we just need an updated DMbooter/wiiflowmod/cfgloader to take the v2 config file into consideration, and 2.2 will be golden, until then use the 2.1 wad I uploaded above to revert to a usable version

EDIT 2: looked all over the place for updated loaders/booters and nothing is available just yet, wiiflow mod r600 beta is being tested at the moment, once I have a link I will test, report back and upload

It loads the disc if it's in the drive because there is no more need to have a disc in there I think it says in the new update

Agreed, the no disc will work once loaders are compatible with DM's cfg v2, until then with a disc in the drive = boots disc instead of iso, without disc in drive = apploader error.

2.1 ftw right now mate.

Apparently once the loaders are supportive of cfg v2, PSO games will run without messing with settings, its all automated within DM.

I tested DM booter with all possible combo's of settings and 2.2 is just no good until an update comes out.

The only game I have that wont boot is mario golf, apparently it boots through USBloaderGX but not wiiflowmod/dmbooter... weird huh

Apparently you just need to update GX to the newer beta version to fix that error, what version you running? I've never bothered with cfg loader or GX, wiiflow/mod all the way

EDIT:

@superfurry : http://www.mediafire.com/?kz6g4q685q6tq9f latest version I can find

r1196 Changelog

Fixed launching GameCube games from disc with official MIOS
Added Forced Language settings for GameCube games when using DM(L)
Fixed GameCube games video mode error with DML by removing forced progressive mode when using component cable.
Replaced the "Force interlace" by "DML Progressive Patch" (use it ONLY if you don't see any picture when forcing 480p)
Added more DML detection to user's behavior (using the wrong Ocarina folder, using old settings, etc.)
Added a setting to choose whether to use MIOS or Devolution for GameCube games.
Added support for Devolution:
place Loader.bin from devolution sources in "DEVO Loader Folder". Default folder is sd:/apps/gc_devo/ but you can change it.
You need to use the same folder layout than DIOS MIOS: /games/title[ID6]/game.iso
You need to place the second game disc ISO in the same folder than the first ISO (untested)
Set "GameCube Mode" in loader setting or game setting to Devolution
The Memory Card Emulation for Devolution can be:
- OFF (real Memory Card)
- ON (saved in /apps/gc_devo)
- Individual (Saved in the game folder)
Other settings have no effect in Devolution Mode. (no Ocarina/language/video force/etc.)
