Yes, I think this is a good price.

And no problem if you find one already jailbroken, if you want to do this by yourself, just install OFW 3.55 and install any CFW you like (I recommend Kmeaw, Rebug or Rogero), all of this can be made using a USB Flash Drive.

The same goes for the homebrews.
