It would be more practical in a technical sense to extract the keys, but that isn't happening so far either.

@marcan 42: @zecoxao the bootldr keys are just as fail as the metldr keys, it's just that people suck at extracting them (no, don't ask us). |

it can't be done mathematically. you've got to get a random number that the ps3 calculates to do it, which, initially sounds like something that can be done, since computers can't do random numbers, but instead got a string of numbers ready to pull out as "random". but that was many years ago, right now, computers can calculate random numbers that depend on the current machine temperature, the power of the fan, the wind, etc. things you can't control. so, there's no way of getting it mathematically. think of it as an equation of two variables, there's an infinite number of possibilities. what made it easy to get the keys before was that this random number was actually a constant that we didn't know, so if you've got two equations with 2 variables, from which one is the same for both, then they get cancelled and you can just get the remaining variables, as you've got 2 equations. any questions just ask, I read quite a lot about this keys obtaining stuff and am pretty good at math. |

I hope this information leaks someday. Why can they just release it anonymously? I mean, if you can hack the PS3, you can for sure release something anonymously. But well, I wish I had his knowledge. Or I wish he would give us the mortals some hints. |

get the key via software is almost impossible probably via TEST PS3 or CEX converted hopes can be probably more but i doubt it... for sure there isn't a string[] mykey = GetKeys(); :D the only way is via hardware for say practice or think in this way....if PS3 use them means that PS3 have built in them and just hide it to you but the funny thing is that use them in front your eyes always for every kind of operation YOU DO with the system.
