MS and Nintendo have still attempt to deal with hackers, but the difference is that customers that have nothing to do with it are rarely involved in any way. Sure sometimes MS supposedly bans somebody with a legit 360, but as far as I've heard they correct the situation, if they made a mistake. Nintendo goes and cry to the governments of countries to stop the import/sale of flashcarts and the like, and that's it.

If only sony was like nintendo there would be no tru blu... yeah technically they have no say in anything TB related as it's outside of their "jurisdiction", but when has that stopped sony from being a$$holes?

I've been on OFW 3.15 for a LOOOONG time until I finally thought, hell why not update to 3.55 rebug and have the otheros++ (still haven't used the OtherOS++ part or even installed it), and hee, now I can play some extra original games I had laying around AND use my move controller which I also bought the same week...

it's refreshing everytime I see somebody gets the amount of ******baggery sony conjured up when they removed OtherOS. I just gasp in disbelief when people actually think it was because of piracy... kinda like when I meet somebody that believes fox news.

@malex Sony don't know how to deal with situations they just try & over power the entire world/customers/hackers/ etc. This kind of treatment to step all over everyone ,ignorance ,above the law ,don't give a ship who they screw ,to get there way => Will only bring back the people they don't want to see again. "ANONYMOUS" And since they are not they, are many .Sony will never have a chance ,as all it takes is a few of the cells to attack Sony again & Sony will be damaged once again /rinse/repeat, again ,again.

So in other words if Sony wants to play dirty again = I welcome there ignorance & will enjoy the show of there downfall once again.

Oh I'm in full agreement that sony wants to establish some sort of dystopia. I tell you man, the 2 worst qualities a "person" can have is being a die-hard sony fan, or apple fan. It turns my stomach to see people choose to remain oblivious to the wrong doings of both companies simply because they like their products.

As far as another attack by anonymous, I sure hope so I was lolling pretty bad thanks to Anon and lulzsec. It's also quite amusing to see the sony loyalist who think that "they caught anonymous" LOL!
