r8 open (you need a switch,r8 only bridge to the PC to recognize the driver for the installation progskeet), R9-R11 bridge, power ps3 wait 20 seconds r7 bridge (you need a switch) simultaneously connected the USB to the PC, then dump flash 3x verified by HXD program is a good flash without errors-VERY IMPORTANT!!LINK:http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Hardware_flashing

But if you soldered a 2 wire to the progskeet(3.3v and gnd)on ps3 motherboard you must not R7 and R8 Bridge, r7 soldered you have to switch to open and closed(power on progskeet)first install the driver

can you ppl give correct advice?
device not recognised:
1. you havent installed the drivers CLICK HERE FOR PROGSKEET DRIVERS
2 you need to use win xp 32bit (try to stay away from win 7 & 64 bit. if your on a microsoft OS)

R7 open
R8 closed
R9 & R11 (3.3v) bridged
turn on ps3 wait 3 to 5 sec than plug progskeet's usb into pc to halt the boot up & the pc should beep to say the progskeet has been recognised

if you power the NOR from the progskeet you need 3.3v feed from the progskeet and R7 & R8 closed (do not power the ps3 via the mains with these both closed) and this way is used to dump NOR when you have a soft brick only now.

you need anymore help go here :-

i am still developing the thread but the progskeet NOR side is done.

ok the halting at 0x0 fault i had the first time i did a dump on my first ps3.
i soldered all the wires from skeet to ps3 (i dont know if you have done the same)
and found i had "dead soldered" some wires by using a soldering iron that was to hot.
if you have soldered i would suggest re-soldering all the wires and take your time.

if you have used the NOR clip have you removed pin 46 as discussed in the wikki?
see here&here
