This is a game Save Editor .. as in if u wanted u can sift threw your save file and look for your own codes in advanced mode or use the codes that are allready in the games list ..

Xploder only resignes the save to your System ..

GG will do that and many more things ..

anyone one thats been around the CMP (Codemasters-project) knows what this program does.. we have been modding saves for a wile now . using JPN version Save Editor ..

this is not a Memoryhacker.. But if games have say a god mode value in the save that can be saved then u can still get them funky codes :P but this is mainly max out things .. or unlock everything and so on ..

Things the GG can do
Add Cheats to your save no need to use someone elts save
Resigne saves if you feel the need to..
Alows you to hack your own save (as long as the games in the list)

Have a look on their website: you can also add cheat code (for any FW)
Not to mention the craked ps3 cheat user dongle app also (for cfw)

About the way Skiller described this product, it seems it was about him. Sorry if not and if yes, i was not in the purpose of being rude. So in all case, i m sorry if my previous message sound bad.
In generic way, being able to launch your own dongle required some ability, knowledge and contact i don t have. It s not something easy and i can feel jealous about some aspect of it (it can be seen as great adventure and with potential treasure at the end if the product is successful).

But apart this feeling, it s hard for me to see where are the real news featuring?
And don t take it wrong, even there are nothing new it can be a good product if we compare with others things available (but it doubt so please explains how this will be better than the free pkg/ps3cheat or the 19$ xploder cd)

Please correct and explain ( even it s not something i ll support), it can be a way to en light this product. thanks you.

The Xploder only resignes saves it does not cheat the saves unless there already cheated by someone elts .. (if Fire Desides to make codes)

I will be doin up an article over on the CMP all about what this tool can do . i will even show the inner workings example adding Max Money Max Health unlock all and so on to a few of my own saves .. this is what the GG can do ..

the Xpoder is not what it shows lol there i have it as well

all the xploder is something to resigne someone elts save to your system .. thats all .

GG does much more its not a Dongle persay its a Free USB divice that comes with the divice .. Sure u need to use it but hey for the price what can u say :P

Xploder u buy for 20% and get 1% the function of the GG once i post pics and maybe a vid of the actual program u might see the diffrince .. i can even do a side by side of Xploder and GG

And no its not only about the Param.PFD .. (thats all the Xploder is about though)

Looking now at the Xploder CD Says it does cheats but from the version i have it only does saves .. they call cheats gamesaves that are Prehacked.. i beleave id have to look again and see if maybe they updated .. since i got it when they first released it ..

LMAO i just looked at my Xploder .. and i was right no codes just saves from Gamefaqs and other places . no actual Codes ..

there unlock everything is just someone elts save that has everything unlocked :P

To make clear, because it s internet and because i m lack of different quality as writing/humor/ps3 knowledge...my comments can sound worst than i m already.
I don t agree/support the idea of DRM CD/dongle at any cost (no matter the price) but that s my problem. I also admit it required quality i don t have.

About the idea of cheat: i don t mind, trophy things also (and i doubt about the featuring related to online block) cheat can be use for make games harder or cool.

But let s speak about more important, not me or people behind the DRM.

But still, i don t agree. Anyway more important it this device(s):

from the dongle solution:

-about game mod (more specific to usrdir files )----similar than the cheat disc pkg.
Target customer are cfw users.

Price: 39$ (for the cd+donge)

And on CD or the dongle, it will be added cheat code, mod games (menu unlock things)

So that was my nice part and correct if not that (and i can be wrong but that s the pleasure of forum, to discuss)

I don t see how this can be really interesting for cfw user. They already have a lot of available cheats (release of the Cheat Disc PKG was probably really bad new), fake owner save, mod games, and so. They already have more dongles than necessary.

For ofw user: yes, resign and add cheat code is attractive feature but you got the 19$ cd xploder against you. And even it just resign save, people probably already feel fine because they can just use an other 100% save.

And "worst thing" will be param.pfd being publicly reverse and free tools available.

So, clearly i ll never be convince and can be pessimistic but good luck.

I think your missunderstanding a little ..

the USB has the install program on it it installs to the PC, of cource its ment for OFW.. since CFW is a gray area..

but in the end CFW users do not have anyway of doing what the GG can do .. How you goin to add codes to your fav TB released game ..
Sure CFW has ps3usercheats and so on but u cant add your own codes. we also have the Eboot hacks but this is very limited .

the PFD is not the only thing that is effected to make a Cheated save you need to decrypt the actual save file as well the thing that holds your game data .. there is nothing to do this outside the GG and Save editor ..

there is no CD..

Sorry i had in mind picture with both dongle and CD but this is probably something "artist view" or early prototype concept (if you don t know which picture i can PM you but to don t derail the topic, no need to post here)

So,
You said currently CFW users can not updat theirs owns cheats but according to oct0xor, a way to update the own list will be release.

Anyway that is not the main interest, since this product is for OFW.
OK, how you will got the eboot.bin hack into OFW?

For others files needed to reverse the save data you refer, it s about profile.bin, secure.bin and others?
But if there are a breach into the param.pfd being the main stone , that will fail right after?

And @CrashSerious might have interest on this device/ area of PS3? (not like this top dev have to do it or anything to prove to anyone but if this dev found the time and interest...)

Anyway, there are fews things i m speaking without so much knowledge and should stop.

but i think this device (i can t save my self and stop to write): it s been too late for many reasons, and at any cost it should be something to paid because it s include system file. So it s like paying for SFO editor. If was a way to secure your "creations cheat mod part" with DRM but not the param.pfd, i ll not care so much))
