well, the thing is: the Disc/Game ID and the Cheat ID have to correspond. If they don't, the chance is high that the cheat does not work.
I don't know exactly why, but it works that way.

I heard that you can easily alter the game ID to match the cheats via param.sfo

would be great if someone could verify that.

to clarify this is a file in the pkg it is also installede to the game directory on your ps3 hddthat is password protected. I just started running a brute force attack on it but was wondering if anyone has already figured it out?

Go to post #57 and download the eboot. First, you must update the game data to 1.02 and replace the eboot with the downloaded one. Do not replace the game eboot, only the game update eboot dev_hdd0>game>game id>usrdir>eboot.
