Questions about CEX to DEX (Slightly different.) =P

Hi, I've just registered to these forums although I've been lurking in this website ever since the first 3.41 dongles we're released. And ever since the CEX to DEX happened, the information has become really confusing and disorganized. So I have two questions... If anyone can answer them.

1)Even though the first released method seems to convert a 3.55 OFW CEX to DEX, this also means you lose access to homebrew like Multiman isn't it?

2)This is also true if you change from 3.55DEX to 4.1 DEX as well?

Basically my primary question is losing access to already existing software in my PS3 as well as losing access to my original PS3 games (Unless I redump it to BDEmu). Which is big thing to think about for me..... Thanks for anyone willing to answer.

1. No all homebrew works/ But Backups will not unless you do the new method, Multiman will work but cannot play backups (No peek and poke)

2. Yes you can update to 4.11 Dex unless 4.20+ gets leaked.

The only thing you loose is PSN. Basically.
