Hey all PS3 modders!

I'd like to hear stories back from those who have successfully converted their units from CEX2DEX and now what they are able to achieve.

Ie: play all current related backups, from disc or backupmanager?
Other usefull features ps3 related

i have converted and only turned it on one time since...

oh ya all the old backups that worked on 3.55 cex work on 3.55 dex with mm. just use mfw builder to add peek and poke to your dex firmware.

It's re-invented my PS3 use.. Hadn't used it in yonks, but now it's never off!

Loading games/homebrew from across the network is all I wanted from Cobra and now I have it! I loved to bits, being able to control my 360 from my PC (I love PIX too!) and having that on PS3 too is just the f*ckin sh!t!

I've got some slims in need of a downgrade, so playing 3.6+ disks is a luxury I've had a while, but still very cool.

So much more but I'll stop here..

yes i converted from cex to dex..........took me ages to figure out..but got there in the end...multiman working on old backups(3.55 games) ..am in the process of trying new games...gonna update to dex 4.11 and try some that i have the updates for.....i think its just a waiting game until someone gets backup managers working on firmware above 3.55.

I have converted too. Trying to fix Bd playback and get a 3.55 Dex pup with p&p cause the one I created gives a black screen when launching multiman

i use multiman 4.01 and DEX patch and it works great....ive just uploaded my DEX 3.55 p&p pup....enjoy

Ok but as far as playing backups that reqiure 3.56 plus firmware that does not work??

It does work, there is just another way. Can't use backup managers yet though

Yes i have converted safely and tested new games and pkgs on 4.11 and downgraded to 3.55 is well without flasher.
