Sorry Dear, but I'm not going to hold your hand and do research to give you direct links to answer your questions. I'm done breastfeeding babies. You failed to read the guide or comprehend it before asking questions answered in it and then now you're on my back for giving you the answer which was go find out yourself and keep on topic.

Why does this generation expect everyone else to do everything for them? Dude, load up the search page or visit Google. You got the best answer you needed - that this thread isn't about what you asked so look elsewhere. Calling me names when I gave you a direct answer was uncalled for. Want it your way; go to Burger King (borrowed)

Totally agree... its one of the main problems.. the "young guns" expect to get ALL work done. .so they dont have to think just use to play the games..

Ok, I downgraded to DEX3.55 and I been trying to re-flash my previous CEX Flash Dump using JaiCrab Preloader Advance v3.1, but so far I haven't been able to put the PS3 in Factory Service Mode, even with FSM Tool v2.

I have tried renaming "Backuprflash.bin" (256 MB) to "CEX355.EID0.NANDBIN" and re-flashing with multiMAN (Debug Mode) but when I double-click the file using mmOS / File Manager, multiMAN display "This operation is not allowed".

I used the 3.55 DEX downgrader PUP to go from 4.11 DEX to 3.55 DEX.

@GraVoX959 if you have some information or anyone else, I will appreciate.

SeeYa!

if you use a 3.55 MFW DEX firmware with Peek&Poke you will be able to use FSM Tool v2 and go to service mode

@CaptainCPS-X

Use this one, it has Peek/Poke already enabled:

harryoke's 3.55 DEX with Peek and Poke

I have flashed this to mine but haven't tested anything with it but it does flash 100%.

i followed EVERYSTEP!

STEP 2 :: GOING INTO FACTORY SERVICE MODE

1- Connect the USB Storage Device to the PC.
2- Copy the files from "FACTORY_SERVICE_MODE_TOOL_v02" to the root of a USB storage device.
3- Connect the USB Storage Device to the PS3 and install "FactoryServiceMode.gnpdrm.pkg".
4- Run "Factory Service Mode Tool" from the XMB Game column.
5- If you hear 3 beeps, try it again, it should beep once now and reboot into Factory Service Mode.
6- You can turn off your PS3 for now.

yup it beeped 3 time so i did it again and it beeped once then the PS3 turned itself off, when i now turn it on i get all the sound but the tv never show me anything is this bad?? i also cant enter restore mode as after i get the 2 beeps the ps3 now just turns off.
and ive did the hold the power button down for 5 seconds. Once you hear the second beep sound, which will indicate the reset has been completed.

After going into service mode, you had to leave the PS3 off, as mentioned on the guide.

But, in any case, to exit service mode follow these steps and let me know.

*- Connect the USB Storage Device to your PC.
*- Rename "Lv2diag_exit.self" to "Lv2diag.self".
*- Connect the USB Storage Device to your PS3 and turn it on.
*- Your PS3 should be out of Factory Service Mode.
*- Connect the USB Storage Device to your PC.
*- Rename "Lv2diag.self" to "Lv2diag_exit.self".

Let me know how it goes

SeeYa!
