Now my PS3 will turn a Green light, turn Yellow then keeps blinking Red.

I guess my luck is over.

I will try to use some of the dongles I have around to put it back in service mode, but apparently is not even reading the USB.

Sucks Dude. Sorry for your horrible luck. I hope you can fix it.

If you're using the paired Red Ribbon RC5 and metldrpwn from the download and not an old version of RC5 or an unpaired metldrpwn compiled for a different kernel, open lxterminal and type "sudo passwd root". hit enter.
you will need to set a password for root. you can Ctrl+Alt+F1 and Ctrl+Alt+F7 as much as you need to, to get in and out of the terminal window.

@CaptainCPS-X

All good things ....

Due to my inexperience regarding the use of hardware to manipulate the NAND/NOR of PS3 consoles I could be mistaken, but hopefully you can obtain something to flash your PS3 back to a working state.

@CaptainCPS-X

Thanks for the guide and sorry to hear you borked going back to CEX.
From what I've read, you should be able to fix it with a flasher.

I was going to try reflashing back to CEX but I think I'll wait now until there is a confirmed way back for NANDs.

I am going through some documentation and videos on how to use Progskeet. If I can afford everything needed I will try to bring back my PS3 to life.

So, my advice to people on DEX + NAND, is to wait until a proper method to go back to CEX has been confirmed.

@jennys thanks for your comments <3 (and for the thread moderation LMAO! haha! xD)

SeeYa!
