I've already done one I got given. My personal PS3 is on OFW.
The hardest part is doing linux for metldrpwn, the rest is easy. The worst part is booting the PS3 after flashing DEX!!!! |

I got dump_eid0.bin and, after deleting all the lines except for the firt 3 , CEX2DEX tool by andbey0nd say "ERROR: Cannot decrypt EID0 SECTION!" and the GUI of CEX2DEX say "CMAC : FAIL!", what should I do now ? |

I used the full dump from metldrpwn without deleting anything. I used Preloader to dump my NAND, extracted metldr. Got my dump from metldrpwn, put that into CEX2DEX (the one by Gunner54) along with my NAND backup and it spat out a converted DEX NAND ready for me to flash with Preloader. If you are getting CMAC errors, one of your dumps is incorrect. |

I would start again and double check everything. Sorry I can't be more help as I didn't have that issue so I don't know other than the obvious reason, something is incorrect.
