i double click my original CEX flash to flash the original in mmOS 04.04.03 DEX and it show "error accessing device"

I am a dex convert too. Personally I don't think it's as dangerous as it's made out to be. If someone as dumb as me can do it on the first try without bricking, then anyone can do it. You just gotta be careful. Take the dumps a few times to verify they are valid.

I'm on Dex myself running 3.55 with p&p. Mm runs great. I switch to dex 4.11 to play newer games. I use ps3gen and game updates to run 3.56+ games. So now I have a reason to buy new games and still use mm. To hell with psn access. I'm just happy to be able to play newer games without having to lose anymore functionality.

I was able to convert one of my CEX boxes (NOR-based) to DEX using deank's tutorial.

If you know your way around Linux then this isn't really hard or anything to be afraid of doing - deank has made it really easy with Multiman.

However, I believe somebody should make a video tutorial of this - I didn't have the chance of doing so when I converted my box - perhaps somebody else can do it.

I converted an old phat last night and flashed the peek/poke enabled 3.55DEX that @harryoke posted. I haven't tested anything as yet as it was late when I flashed it.

Willl try and get some testing done today (hopefully).

I was thinking once Naehrwerts method is figured out properly (for 3.55), combine it with deank's tutorial and rogero's 3.55 dex cfw = there you will have a very simple method.

what do you think?
