Good finally someone decided to release the missing 4.20 update but more than that i'm interested in the cex<->dex switching pup's.
How did they manage to bypass the whole nor\nand flashing step?

Hiyas everyone just posting something here before I forget, I noticed before bricking my PS3, while I was on DEX 4.11

I remember I tried this with Deus EX: Human Revolution

While having an original PS3 game on the drive, there is a option with a 'star' called "Check", it will give a lot of information about the game files, including their FW version, SDK version and apparently there is a decryption process done while checking .sprx / EBOOT.BIN files. It will create some log files on your USB Storage Device if you have it plugged in. This might help people with more knowledge get somewhere regarding the decryption of games (maybe TB does something like this to get the decrypted game files, idk).

To see the what I mean, you must be using DEX 4.11+ for example and try putting a 3.55+ original game on the drive, then do the Check from XMB.

Hope this is useful somehow, if not well I just put it out there xD, is a really nice feature for research purposes.

Did this on Asura's Wrath. Took a few minutes. Looks like even the PS3 has trouble decrypting lol.
