i just downgraded to 4.11 official dex firmware nothing special just put 4.11 on usb plug in downgrade now going to downgrade to 3.55 using regero's pup if that doesn't work will try the 3.55 special downgrade pup will post results when done

and downgraded to 3.55 now i'm installing regero's firmware :D happy

Where exactly does this leave people on 4.20 OFW?
Do we still need a hardware flasher? I've read through several pages but finding it quite difficult to follow with some of the PS3 jargon.
The link on the top says 4.20 is downgradable, again is this hardware flasher only?

hardware flasher only and still it needs a console that had factory fw 3.55 or less
