nOPE but am just someone with alot of common sense....lol...unless the method to use psn_package_npdrm is a crucial part to getting the game play,but if not my method would be an easier way to it.

It gets easier. Get update unpack with math PSP ps3 pkg extractor or PSdevGUI tools then repack with http://www.2shared.com/file/CWuLP5jA/make_pkg.html for windows and http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=39924 for Mac and install on 4.11 dex no downgrading it's a waste of time.

but u not exactly booting in on the ps3 u booting it via hdd- bd emulator so it boot like it would be on a bd disc . i dont think its got anythink to do with the update its bd emulator and how thats works i think

did any1 tried GT5 with latest updates?
if so, im thinking trying this way, install all patchs, and do the conversion in the last one.

btw, back then when geohot jailbreak, and we didnt had peek & poke, we have eboot up to 3.55 changed and converted the game to full pkg.
can we still use the games that work that way? while 4.1x?

gt5 is a 3.50 game plus u wont be able to install the updates on dex 4.11 with out doing doing the conversion to make the pkg on signed on all the updates

I've already tried it and it works but you must be on 4.11 dex to play with the latest update.
I repacked all the updates (3+GB) in a single package and installed it on 3.55 dex, then updated to 4.11 dex and installed GT5 on bd-emu hdd.
