You don't need to resign, that's the point.

Using the source you can compile it as a debug package and it will install and work on any DEX firmware.

You would only need keys for resigning etc when compiling stuff for CEX firmwares.

Compilation of toolchain+psl1ght under cygwin failed, after lots of hours! I guess i'll have to turn myself on to the ready-to-use VM...

umm try the dex firmware i uploaded. it should install and work. eveything else has now. check the front page.

Thanks, itskamel. It may work, but i am actually more insterested in getting it to work on 4.11 (or 4.20) DEX in order to avoid downgrading. After all, i just need to be able to play original games with the latest patches (mostly Gran Turismo 5) and see movies on the unit, so if i manage to do both on 4.11 it would be just great (without the need to go back and forth)! Besides, it's allways entertaining to learn new stuff! :D

As long as i don't manage to get it to work on 4.11, i'll try downgrading to your 3.55.

yeah i think that would work its been so long since i messed around with debug eboots

cant even remember how to make a debug eboot from a elf lol

an eboot.bin is a .self just drag the eboot.bin over to "eboot decrypt" and you'll get an eboot.elf, then drag the pkg folder over to "pkg repack" and you should get a debug pkg.
