Bricked console trying to go back to CEX

I bricked my console after I had successfully been on DEX for a week.

I got temped to try this guide http://www.digitalangel.it/en/2012/0...icata-dex2cex/ , that's how I bricked it

When putting the console in factorymode I guess i did a mistake by already having the usb stick with the rflash.bin, lv2diagself and the advanced.cfg files.

So instead of first getting into factory, and turn off console. It started to load the rflash.bin already when getting in factory mode.

I'm not sure if this is where it went wrong.

Anyway the console were blinking green for about half an hour, and the usb was blinking as well. I did not dare to turn of the console, but it went of by itself.

Now when I try to turn it on It beeps once like normal and then it turns off again. The red light dissapers. If I press power again it beeps again and the red light comes back.

There is also no power in the usb, so i guess it's impossible to unbrick using lv2diag.self files.

Do anybody know if there is a way to recover from this? With E3 flasher, or another flasher?

Regards
Unhappy owner of a bricked PS3 console

**USB Pen has to be connected to the PS3.**

Sda1 should be the usb stick - by typing

mount -rw /dev/sda1 /mnt

that command should mount the pen to /mnt location - However your pen might be sdb1 or sdc1 etc.. to find out type

ls -l /dev

now look through the list until you get to the S section and find your device (really hope that makes sense?)

once you know what its called

mount -rw /dev/"your device here (sdb1/sdc1)" <--Without the quotes.
for example;

mount -rw /dev/sdb1 /mnt
or
mount -rw /dev/sdc1 /mnt

Hope this helps.

I was all hyped about the cex-2-dex but then I realized I had NOR and I got scared over the Linux parts :P

Maybe one day a really really non-linuxer like myself can accomplish such a task :P But thank you for taking the time to put this together @hewman
