Uhm... What you linked was from E3's homepage, not TB's....
And uhhhm... What you linked was ehm.. Product specifications on the E3 Flasher, on which you wrote underneath "lol new dongle".

I agree with that. The fact that a hardware hacker would prove useful. Atleast it would be another perspective to things, and perhaps it would be easier for one with hardware hacking skills, than one with software hacking skills to make a breakthrough in some way - and maybe an unpatchable one.

But on the matter of that bus analyzer... Indeed, with the speed of the bus on the PS3, a bus analyzer with such a pricetag would be needed.
BUT sadly, in a similar way just as the DECR (PS3 reference tool) cannot be bought by just anyone, I don't think any private person could just go out, and buy such a bus analyzer.

They in fact announce a new "USB DEVICE"

My mouse and keyboard are both a USB DEVICE as is the PS Move/camera device they launched 3 weeks later

I said new dongle to this "new E3 accessory" at post #8.

from what undertand from the past 2 years with ps3 scene is that can separated in 3 parts:
-the first part are godly dev genius guys (failoverflow,geohof,graph etc) this guys essentially have the talent and will to crack the ps3 but sony has them grabbed by the ballz,also they have a stupid drawback( god complex) they can if they want release a cfw 4.21 today anoniymously) but their ego is so big that they wouldnt do it.
-the second group is more obscure as they always move behind the scene and my theory that their are for the most old sceners.im sure most of them now enjoying a custom 4.21 with psn but these guys also are without morals.a little call to chinese cloners and hardware makers to make a little profit. after all if you have something valuable in nowadays capitalist worl would give if for free.thats why the first group is not the most smart but the more honest one.
-the third group are our everyday dev here in hax and everywhere (rogero,deank,neuss,) and alot of others i might forget.this guys are actually the most honest among them ,not necessarely after money or fame but are a real strength in this scene.in my opinion they are the backbone of this community.
i may look silly saying this but the scene is looking more and more like the series Dallas with our local holywood drama producer Gregory Rasputin cause he is so nanar lol.
