Hey im an expert on psp hacking but need help with ps3!! My ps3 slim is on ofw 4.20. im just wondering if i can have a equally skilled ps3 hacker give me steps as to get it downgraded to at least 4.10 or lower if possible. The help will b greatly appreciated... thanx

Why does everyone keep asking how to downgrade and not give enough info about their ps3.

It's like going to the auto parts store, and saying "hey, I need some ball joints for my Dodge."
What kind of Dodge?
What year?
etc.......

I suggest searching, you will be surprised how much you can find out on your own.

yea ik... ive been doin alot of searchin but ran in to alot of poorly detailed step and instructions. im not use to hacking a ps3 so im pretty cautious right now. but if you can direct me towhere i can get good legit info. and what ever info i need to provide just leet me know please..

After using that to find out if your ps3 can go to 3.55 or lower, and it can?

Then you will need a hardware flasher, like e3 flasher.

Yea i noticed that so theres really no way without a flasher like how the psp does? if so fine. do i have to buy a flasher?

Yeah you can get an e3 flasher at modchipcentral.com or modchipdirect.com for roughly $90-$110. Dont forget to get a down grader (dongle) like ps3key.

ican easilly get to 3.55 by my self from 4.10. but my lilbro updated to 4.20 and now im stuck trying to get it bk down. i know about the flasher but ive seen it done without the flasher. is there a way with a usb. ive seen sum on youtube but the rar requires a pass word and survey everytime. wats up with that.

LOL. No, you can not easily get to 3.55 yourself from 4.10. You can not get to 3.55 easily from any firmware 3.56 or higher.

What part of you need a hardware flasher, don't you understand? And that is even if you ps3 can be downgraded to 3.55. If it came new with a higher firmware, it can not.

o i guess your right.. got it well when i first bought the system i had sumone jail break it and install multiman and a lvl2 patcher but i thought because it was updated the multiman and lvl2 stopped working am i right. could there b another reason y they no longer work.
