I'm on ofw 4.20 and I'm in an area where I can't really get the e3 flasher and stuff like that. So basically I'm stuck on ofw.

So I started looking for some other way to backup my OWNED games. And I found this

It explains how to (if you have a copy of the game already) copy the game onto a CD and play/keep as a backup by copying the boot code.

I'm pretty sure this is fake because its way easier than downgrading/jailbreaking but isn't mentioned here (as far as I know) But i want to make sure because this would be a real saver for me. Thanks in advance

Sorry man the only way to backup games is by using a backup manager which requires CFW /:

[DEFAULTDNB]

This will begin disintegrating the embedded code and start creating a copy of the original game

Yeah good luck squeezing GOW3 or 99% of any other PS3 games onto a CD.

Besides of post an outdated and *crazy* guide you did not state your PS3 model in order to get proper help on this issue you are having. @thunderp
