but I keep getting an error cannot open package.conf..

I'm having problems with step #5, when I run psn_package_npdrm.exe i get this error
PARAM.SFO: overwrite VERSION to 01.23. (from 01.00)
!ERROR: BLUS98295/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN is a supported npdrm self. (already authorized)
!ERROR: USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN is required.
Illeagal Package: USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN is required.
Registration error.
I'm new any help would be nice thanks.

Glad you got it working, I can't always answer straight away because I'm a truck driver.

One thing I have learned this week is with the whole process if something does not work then start everything again from the beginning and that normally does the trick.

Thanks I downloaded notepad++ an made my own.. Appreciate it though.

ps3 gen wont see my usb key.. Im using an 8GB memory stick. I done a full format with the playstation Format BD Emulator HDD utility but ps3gen still wont recognise it..

Also when I go to manage>storage my computer only sees one partition..

Any idea where im going wrong?
