Reassemble the upper metal shield back to it's place and put some solid foam over the NOR chip so pressure is created between the MB and the shield . If needed , cut through the shield so the clip can come out

Listen take your pointer finger and middle finger and place them on top of the clip apply a good amount of pressure while trying to very slightly slide the clip left to right so it sets in place after that i used 4 pennies to create the needed pressure. key thing is don't be afraid to use some strength while applying pressure sometime you will hear a click sometimes you wont. you will know its set good when it doesn't wiggle left to right on either side or raise up on either side and it is flush with the board.

This is the hardest part. Listen to slaughter, pressure is a good thing in this case. If it isn't completely flush with the board on any side( even a fraction) it won't give you a dump. If it comes off, or lift at all while messing with it, go ahead and make sure you haven't mangled any pins. Also, clean the pins and chip with some isopropyl alcohol. Sometimes there is a slight film on the pins that keeps from good contact. Just use a toothbrush with alcohol. Also, make damn sure you don't do any flashing without multiple good dumps.
