take the fix and repack it for the older firmwqares. it's no diffrent than patching a 3.55 game to 3.41 or whatever. and patching update files is pretty easy too....

And also, you're forgetting the obvious fact that the reason they're withholding the method is to make money. So this is not some altruistic thing where they keep their method private because otherwise 'they won't be able to deliver us the goods'.

xact, that's one of the reasons i have a PS3, is one of the best Blu-Ray players availables in the market... i have a lot of BD movies and don't want to loose blu-ray movie playback.
