yeah but still no sign of the game icon.. When I run /ps3_home it gives me the same error as when I run it with no usb inserted.. Its not detecting it at all but Im not sure if its because I didn't build the HDD correctly or if some thing is not right on the playstation

Format your usb hdd to fat32 then try formatting the usb HDD with debug settings in ps3. Follow this video tutorial to build your game image with ps3 gen http://www.ps3iso.com/playstation-ne...-3-master.html other than that make sure to have BD access to usb emulator and transfer rate to HDD native. Also you won't get your game to run from /app_home/ it will appear as if you inserted an original Bluray game. I marked on bold a step im sure you missed ps3 gen will not read your hdd if you didn't format it with debug settings there's an option to format your external hdd (ex. format BD emulator).

Anyone get AC Revelations to work? I keep getting a black screen.... running Dex 4.11. I've ran through the process twice and same thing. I verified I'm doing things correctly as I got MW3 working...

Make sure that your backup has these folders (if there aren't, create them):
.../PS3_GAME/USRDIR/ASSASSIN_ISO
.../PS3_GAME/USRDIR/multi/autotest/joinstresstest/
.../PS3_GAME/USRDIR/multi/autotest/memtest/acfe_rhode/
.../PS3_GAME/USRDIR/multi/autotest/memtest/acr_rome_multi/

i guess that your eboot is a TB eboot . u need the original eboot
