The question is: Why does Naehrwert needs to protect an elf from being reversed? They must be up to something!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this in a negative way. I'm just saying aloud that I would love to know what are they doing! Maybe they want to protect an exploit from being reversed by Sony? |

Any news about this?
I've tried to take a look at it but it's a bit too much for me. I know assembly and all, but I really don't know how to use IDA properly. Does anyone have a tutorial or a good book on how to reverse assembly using IDA? I've installed xorloser and kakarotoks plugins for reversing elfs. Then took a look at it. Saw a little program with a huge table. And that's all haha. When they talk about the "payload" what are they refering to exactly? I don't get the concept of a payload. If I disassembly the program, isn't that the payload? This is why I like hardware. :P |
