I just got another PHAT today for $75 for SEN access.
YLOD is a bytch, but since I had mine reballed......no issues. Hopefully the new one holds up.

 I respectfully disagree lol. As it very well may be a personal preference matter but from what I see the CECHA01 to me at least was the best model. If you wanted to technically break it down I would say that they are evens Stevens, the lack the features available on the Slims are just as bad as the efficiency on the Phats. But from what I see realistically no one really notices or cares for power draw etc, they just plug it in and use it, while features on the other hand are noticed and prefer they be present. And overheating to me wasn't really an issue, like mentioned a reball would have fixed my problems (unfortunately it was too late).

My brother's got the ylod, mine didnt. Ive had mine longer and used more often. Really I think it had to do with him getting his comeuppance for being an asshat around that time

Speaking of shoddy PS3s, has anyone got or has had one with a faulty HDMI port?
I remember when I had one with a FUBAR HDMI port, and that ticked me off, especially when you can't play most of the games via the standard 3-pin RCA-male/SCART cable/connector set as the writing/fonts are an eyesore to read/see. |

My CECHA01 is down with a YLOD. I have an 80 Gig CECHE01 that I upgraded to 300 gigs that works just fine. It has all the same functions. Just based off of experience if I had to vote I'd say the E01 is better than the A01.

The PS3 has the potential to be the best console ever made. I believe it has more potential than the Xbox 360 and Wii.
