BTW: I'm having an issue with Heavy Rain:

"Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will quit. (8001050F)"

I read somewhere that I needed it in the internal HD, but it isn't working, also tried to press select + X.

If you can help I appreciate it ^^

Wait... I'm not understanding... why reformat again? The space problem seems fixed.

I see, I think I need to have the game data... is there any way to do that without having the original game?
************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
Well I got it working... deleted the folder update, changed the name from something like BLUS-98642 to BLUS98642... and I started in multiman then instead of starting the game in app_something I started in the icon with a disc.

:D

Thanks for the advices.

PS: Probably it was only the last part that made the difference...

I believe deleting multiman would work .That is why i decided to take my multiman off dev_hdd0/ I FTP the entire folder & left out the XBM video folder cause it said in the XMB my multiman size is almost like 100GB & that is quite bigger than i expected.Even though i have 1TB internal & have only 258GB left but i was thinking if i deleted multiman would my XMB movies get deleted ?

I did not want to take the chance so i FTP multiman folder/everything but that now i have to copy my XMB movies to the external to see if they disappear from multiman XMB Video folder. My multiman is now repacked on my PC, which is nice to have > HQ PNG covers/ tons of Themes/BDEMU2/Showtime/Theme Videos/Solar, literally everything is installed & i Just FTP/Repacked it all = Fully loaded, almost 3GB

If i need to delete/re install on current or another PS3. It is set & nothing is really needed. I been thinking about gathering everything i can find for Multiman ,everything possible. Install everything then, Repack everything in a Platinum ED type Multiman. I have a nice PAM icon ,etc

I think it will save allot of time for people who like it with everything installed. So much easier than looking for everything or installing 1 pkgs or FTP stuff little by little. It would save hours/days of time. Look like a plan. Anyways i would be careful cause the XMB video folder if there not shortcuts who know what else gets deleted.

I had this exact problem with my PS3. There were ~ 40gb of taken space and I couldn't figure out why. I've eventually pin pointed the problem to an empty folder and I knew it was a "faulty" one because I couldn't delete it with anything or copy/ cut it.
