Here we go again, since you are the *victim* of my *bad responses*.

You asked first:

does this release mean we can play balckups on dex ps3 withotu any problem of firmware (what ever the firmware we got)
No, you will run into problems. That will have solutions (others don't), but if you don't read the conversion method i cannot do anything about that. Or indeed if you converted or not (that's not imperative) your PS3 to DEX i cannot help you either in that area.
You done a nice remark *WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM*, problems will show up anytime you mess up or something goes wrong. So it's not a DEFINITIVE solution.
Besides you don't STATED your current PS3 status.

Then you proceed:

or does it mean we will be able to get keys or decrypt laster games to create fix for 3.55 cfw ?
No! AGAIN! If you did not state if you converted your PS3 how the hell will i know?, or if you downgraded or you have 3K series?.
@Rautz showed you that you can run BACKUPS on 3.6x with a converted PS3.
But from that point to decrypt the latest games...i don't think so.

So you asked something that needed a BLACK or WHITE response.
I choose = Nope, and Nope.

If you don't know what the conversion does when is in every single thread on the board that you can see or even use the search button to look it up for yourself, well i rest my case.

@TheFenchy

If you bothered reading the numerous threads on here, you would have had answers to BOTH of your questions and you wouldn't have had to wait two days.

Your questions were already answered in other threads, so why don't YOU read and do the research yourself.

Sorry for the double post:

The first full core dump taken with a debug ps3 got posted yesterday.
It is a elf 64 bit core dump file.
I found two papers about binary recontruction from core dumps. One is rather old [1] and one can be found in the phrack magazine [2]

[1] http://www.ouah.org/core-reconstruction.txt
[2] http://www.phrack.org/issues.html?is...id=12&mode=txt

At least if certain configuration are set on the target system ( i don't know if it's possible on a ps3 debug unit) you can reconstruct a binary from a core dump. Could be worth researching, but i remember a post from math from the year 2010 saying otherwise.

Good luck anyone

4. In Target Manager, click load and run executable. Point to EBOOT.SELF, and make file serving directory and home point to (your game directory)\(your game ID) (if I point to (your game directory)\(your game ID)\PS3_GAME it throws an error that cannot find PARAM.SFO)

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
sorry I'm not sure maybe not all games are compatible, I tested 4 games only 2 worked
deadrising2 and killzone2 work fine but GTA4 and ninja gaiden 2 stop at a black screen
