I have a question about Gran Turismo Spec 2.0. Well it has many updates and I was wondering do I have to install them 1 by 1 ? Because as far as I know the latest updates does not have the contents of the previous.
I have Spec 2.0 (which obviously is 2.0), but there are 7 more updates (right until 2.07) and they are different sizes. For example 2.07 is 2.14MB, but 2.06 is 474.61MB. Any ideas how to make things easier, than extract/compile all of them 1 by 1?

Edit: Actually, I have something in mind - install @itskamel 's 3.55 DEX, then install all of the updates 1 by 1, and then just extract/compile the last (2.07). I have to try that.

I put all the updates(17 if i remember correctly) for GT5 into a single package and it worked just fine.

Ryan I've been thinking about this for Fifa12. If you recall we got a fix that was 3 PKG's that if you installed one by one you a fully working PSN Fifa12.
Now of course it wont work on DEX 4.20 ( I tried ) but if we could convert these 3 PKG's to debug then maybe it would work ?

I don't have Fifa 12 but it should work, just unpack them with pkgview and repack with psn_package_npdrm.

I got the same problem you got. Black screen and kicks back to XMB with patch 1.02.

everybody having black screen issues with games try this...worked for me...put your ps3 into release mode....system software mode game would not boot...release mode and like magic it works

Hi, I got a 160gb USB HDD with 4 partitions on it. I put the first game, Sonic Generations, and played successfuly with DEX. Then, I put GoW3 on the second partition. Now XMB only shows GoW, and I can't seem to find a way to select the game on the first partition.
So my question is: Is there any way to cycle between the games installed on different partitions on the same HDD?

Sorry, I figured it out.
Open ps3gen.exe as Admin, then go to Command -> BD Emulator HDD Utility, then Set Default to the game I wanna play!
