Guys I am having massive problems trying to get Ghost Recon to work on DEX 4.20
I have tried 3 different DEX units all got same results.

I have downloaded the game again but still no joy.

When using gs3gen I get the error about dat but carry on. Then it comes to the ps3 part and disc is there in xmb but when selected all I get is a black screen.

I check log on PS3 and get this at the end

tu2.edat: eDATA file (not allowed in dg)

If anyone can shed any light on this please let me know.

Its working like a charm for me. Just used the 3.30 ps3gen and ignored the EDAT error. I'm already at the fourth mission. This is my ver. BLUS30521

You cannot run backups on a 4.20 DEX console. Only original discs.

If you want to run backups, downgrade to 3.55 then conver to 3.55 DEX. Then you can run backups.

hey mine is working fine over here,and its on my external hdd as bdemu, wat version of ps3gen are u using?....and am using the us version of the game,also the game is crap every mission u have to be switching to something close to night vision just to see ur enemies its annoying,they should made it the old fashion way.

This is so not true... I'm currently playing GR: Future Soldier & Batman: Arkham City on 4.20 DEX from external HDD

Where have you been for the last 2 weeks, you can run backups on 4.20DEX.

You build image on pc with ps3gen to external HDD then plug HDD into PS3 and hey presto you play all the latest games.

@ragdog I don't even play games I just like to crack the task of doing it, if that makes sense. If something can be done then I like to do it.
