Have a look and see if there are any other .bin's .self's or sprx' in the game and give them the same (Fself-ing) treatment. I also noticed that by editing the eboot.elf in HxD some of them started to work. Search for "bdvd" and change "dev_bdvd" to "app_home" and keep hitting F3 to make sure you changed every occurrence of it.
Worked for a few, Race Driver: Grid was one I can remember.

I´m using WinXP and connected to a Thompson router. I haven´t used the ps3 online since the days of the 1st DNS trick. I can use Blackbox FTP no problem though.

Friends please take note.
@deank mentions here: Code:
http://www.ps3hax.net/showpost.php?p=400449&postcount=4 ProDG becomes a important part of our DEX quest. |

Code:
Make sure that Settings > Debug Settings > Release Check Mode = Development Mode. Settings > Debug Settings > Wake on LAN is On. Settings > Debug Settings > Boot Mode is not set to Release Mode. yes, apparently many people bricked their console when converting back to 3.55 cex from 3.55 dex, (because of "syscon hash checks") except for deank who used ProDG . if it's true then ProDG/TM is a must have tool for all debug owners. |

Does this mean, ALWAYS use ProDG/TM when going up and down firmware when you are on DEX? Does this also mean, ALWAYS use ProDG/TM when you are switching between CEX<-->DEX? |

One more doubt: Does this mean, on top of using ProDG/TM for upgrade/downgrade, do I still have to use 4.20 DEX downgrader PUP or I don't have to? Thanks. |
