Step 1: go slap yourself.
Step 2: hit refresh, and if that doesn't work, undo Step 1

@carldenning : everytime i try running the create_hdd_region.sh command it tells me permision denied. File is on root of my usb, and i already restored my ps3 from recovery mode.

so u just answerd your own question , the reason u cant install red ribbon is because u not done create_hdd_region.sh . wow u trying to skip step . my advice if u going to skip steps cos u cant a part then dont convert . if u skip other steps after you sorted red ribbon u have a nice paper weight that look like a ps3 .

try chmod a+x create_hdd_region.sh

once u done that the try

sh create_hdd_region.sh
