In a scene where rumor and speculation somehow manage to become fact it's no surprise that weak minds change sway from one thing to another mainly based on personal greed and self indulgence. The mere fact people change their mind so much is evidence that if a rumor is spread or too many agree on speculation that others do, maybe if not by their own ignorance, but by hearing everyone say something is fact too many times people take it as so.

People want things for free and they want it right now and even when that happens they want more and more even if it doesn't benefit them in any way, shape or form. I mainly blame this on their education level, experience in the "scenes" and the lack of leadership. I mean, most of this thread is the same as always - just a bunch of kids acting like gossiping school girls.

One day they like you, one day they don't ... never ending changing of viewpoints based on not hard facts. People should take the main article for what it says and not sit around arguing about what it doesn't say.

In all honesty for the ones who disliked E3 based on speculation and now suddenly praise them aren't even worth bothering talking to. VBulletin has a really nice ignore feature and I use it often.

1) Install the patch.
2) Try to run via the mm and then the xmb thing.

I got a blank screen, so..

3) I Rebooted the ps3 and tried again. Had a disc in ps3 as well. It worked.

i think it ll do the trick if u try to go to mm once again and load it once more. That is, u try to do the procedure twice.


I did the reboot of my ps3 and then the whole mm and xmb thing again.
It installed.

I had the BLES copy and kept a disc in the ps3.. just in case.

they dont "help", this is a business war and E3 is a compagny as True Blue and all they want is make money.
how to do this ? only by releasing something to hack new firmwares or games.

all they will do is release games key or fix so we can play 3.56++ games from 3.55 SO they will be able to SELL more downgraders.

I'm getting the black screen too. I did the reboot and it didn't work. I'm going to try changing some settings.

i think they are making a custom firmware that will tie your ps3 to some key

you register for an account with the key for a low price of 99.99 and you get all the eboots for free that is tired to your special key.

maybe that way it is dongle free and yet u still buy it

So the entire scene screams for a year "We want to play > 3.55 games" and now that it is said that this is planned to happen to all of the games that isn't enough? You got what you asked for! Quit sounding like those bums on the street. It's annoying.

So what if they sell the downgrader. They sold it then and they sold it now and it's not like every PS3 CFW user could even use the thing! So now you're going to assume they can create a > 3.55 CFW and then bash them for it.

How do you know they have the keys needed for a CFW?

You're going to get your games; be happy. If not go ahead and make a 4.21 CFW as I would really enjoy one as I'm on OFW 4.21.
