Stuck on CEX2DEX

I'm following hewman's NOR CEX2DEX tutorial ( http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=40260 ) and I got to this part:

9. You should be in petitboot now. 'Exit to shell' with the USB Keboard's down arrows and press enter, (3rd option).
At this point I found out that my USB keyboard wasn´t being detected, so I had to turn it off for the day.

Today I bought a USB keyboard and it works, however, when I try this:

• Now Type

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
I get this:

mount: /dev/sda1 already mounted or /mnt busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda1 is mounted on /tmp/petitboot/mnt/sda1
I'm not sure if this is okay or not.

If I then continue on to

chmod 755 create_hdd_region.sh
It tells me there is 'No such file or directory', even though it's placed in the root of my USB HDD.

I'd really appreciate some help.

Code:
cd /tmp/petitboot/mnt/sda1/
sh create_hdd_region.sh

Thanks. That helped, but now I'm having trouble with the installation itself.
I've done everything exactly as the tutorial tells me to, but whilst installing Linux, after a while it stops on this:

Code:
Copying 2nd half of installer and variables over to post-chrooted environment
cp: can't stat ' ./debian-installer2.sh' : No such file or directory
sed: /mnt/debian/tmp/debian-installer-2.sh: No such file or directory
chrooting. . .
chroot: failed to run command '/tmp/debian-installer-2.sh': No such file or directory

I did that, but still got the same error. When it did give me the error, I loaded it manually and it continued (asked for root password, user name, etc), and seemed to finish fine, but afterwards Linux still didn't boot, and there was no option to boot it in petitboot.

I had the same problem with the debian-installer-2.sh and now I'm stucking on the download of the packages and gives me some errors that some directories coudn't be created or errors like:

./debian-installer-2.sh: line 68:aptitude: not found

after 6-8 errors he wants me to set a password and than he kills the download with a few mb.

what did I do wrong =/

edit: now I got this: W: failure while installing base packages.
