with a hardware flasher yes as long as your console was on 3.55 or lower from new

My console is on 4.20 and i heard that the CEX if converted to DEX you could softmod your console to downgrade.

Too many threads like this today... This site needs some kind of auto detect to instantly block these topics and force the user to Google since their clearly unable to use the search engine. The worst part of these threads is all the follow up questions which show that they really didn't search all and then say I don't want to read but I WILL READ TEH TOPICZ I MAKE!

PS: So that this is SOMEWHAT relevant you can only go from CEX to DEX on 3.55. So since you can't go from CEX to DEX on 4.20 it's kind of moot how the whole DEX thing works. If you have a model less than 3000 you could potential downgrade through hardware such as E3, if not you are SOL and should USE GOOGLE.

I have been researching on google - I just wasn't sure if a PS3 slim in 2011 could
be downgraded with E3 flasher on 4.20
