Today we saw 3.60 keys. We are all excited about this breakthrough. But for us who are on a FW higher than 3.56, we are the ones who have more questions.
So, are we going to see a new CFW in the future?
Maybe we will. Or probably. Or yes.
Just don't open any more threads asking these kind of questions.
We must wait for devs to investigate and release something about this.

3.60 cfw seems plausible now, or possibly an updated mod of 3.55.

For 3.56+ users tools can be signed for your firmware so you may be able to software downgrade, or even run back ups.

One great benefit to this is those who are on 3.56-3-60 firmware, they can hope for a 3.60 cfw and then, downgrade to 3.55 cfw, if possible.

I hope! I have a CECHA01 in storage that is running on 3.60 firmware that I'd love software downgrade or even install a 3.60 CFW!

I won't be getting my hopes up for it but surely there's a better chance of that happening now than there was a week ago lol.

ive got a 40gb ps3 on 3.66 or maybe 3.61 collect dust with a broken logic board , hopefully I be able to remarry with softdowngrading that's if lv2_diag works on it ,once they have a dig about. if not then it can collect more dust

Anybody that stayed on official firmware 3.56 deserves a cfw, them poor buggers get the worst of all scenarios.

I have a friend who has stayed on 3.56 OFW. Amazing perseverance especially if you consider that it is only PS3 and it was fairly new when he stopped updating.

I think they said these are only game keys, so as said above it wont be a real cfw 3.60 but a 3.55 cfw which has 3.60 keys added to it. A real cfw 3.60 would be great, especially for the few who havent updated past it, would be a nice reward for them.
