its older game(3.60) LA NOIR... but it works perfect using Multiman EBOOTMOD = boot

15) In Cygwin command shell type "unself EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF" and then press the "Enter" button on the keyboard.
16) Open "EBOOT.ELF" in a Hex Editor and change "dev_bdvd" to "dev_hdd0" ("dev_bdvd" CAN BE FOUND USING THE HEX EDITOR SEARCH FUNCTION).
17) Save the changes and close the hex editor.
18) In Cygwin command shell type "make_self_npdrm.exe EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.BIN UP0001-YOURCHOSENGAMEID_00-0000111122223333".

Yeah but its a good stick to measure it by, we know it works on 3.55 via update, but if we can fix the original eboot we are making progress.

for those people using DEX and target manager we can now decrypt newer eboots and run the fself from pc using Run exec command on Target manager.

Even though I have it and clocked it on my 4.21 OFW ps3, it would be good to have it backed up and replayable on my 3.55 CFW machine

like @DEFAULTDNB put it, it needs an update to work on 3.55 otherwise it wont boot right?! now i get the original 3.60 eboot.bin and fix it using EBOOTMOD and works without update, key confirmed working then or am i missing something...
and yup it's old game but a good one for test
