What's the deal with FW3.65+ games with official FW3.60 retail updates, can these updates also be used?

Like in the days with Duke Nukem Forever, LA Noire and Transformers Dark of the Moon (all 3.60 with 3.55 update)?

Look at the 3.60 Gamelist - all three games will work

Can someone please explain in a little more detail how to make a 3.55CFW eboot fix. I have ripped Sniper: Ghost Warrior to my USB but odn't understand the instructions.

Thanks but, I know those work. They already did a long time, due to they have official FW3.55 retail updates.

What I meant, for instance Disgaea 4 (BLUS30727) is FW3.66. But its retail update 01.13 only requires FW3.60...
