Yes it makes. Once thing is to have a 3.56+ downgradable console (the ones before the series 3000) and another thing is to have a 3.56+ not downgradable console (series 3000 and newer). He was refering to the latter group.

The consoles that came with 3.56 or above cannot downgrade because you can't downgrade to a firmware below the one your console came with.

Yes, a software downgrade for 3.56 would be a lifesaver. I've been stuck on 3.56 for the past 18 months, ever since a clueless relative updated accidentally.
It'd be nice to finally try out some of the homebrew apps that are floating around. |
