Actually in terms of MFW for 3.60+ this is a big deal when you know how the system fully operates, especially when this can be applied to those unhackable consoles.
You would probably say that we can't find new private keys for that, which is true , however, I'll give you a hint...ask yourself how did DH managed to apply their own 3.56 MFW? (here is another hint - they didn't manage to calculate new private keys).


This Scene is actually coming alive in terms of homebrew for EVERY console.

Ah completely forgot about the fact that many people cant downgrade and are stuck with 3.6+, sorry about that, I was too centered around the idea of a cecha01 which is what I want to always have lol. But yeah 3.6 CFW would be good for people with undowngradeable consoles.

As per the SKU Model Table on ps3devwiki most of the newer consoles have the factory firmware version as 3.60/3.61.. If the E3 flasher enables us to downgrade it till that level along with a CFW/MFW with "full fucntional and operational capabilities" could provide relief to a lot of people not to miss out on dual booting as well.. And having these CORE_OS files is one of the steps needed to be done and we have it.. Thank You @PsDev !!

I think technically the hardest issue of downgrading the 3000x like consoles was the fact that we didn't know what drivers to write for them (but now you do), so I believe that you can even add the new drivers to a modified 3.55 with the official private keys and downgrade (or make your own 3.60+ mfw).
I have a good feeling that E3 was planning to do so, but the release of 3.60 public keys has changed that .

Well actually, this guy has probably been sitting on these keys for awhile, not sharing and reading that e3 would be giving out keys wanted some credit before his hard work became obsolete. If you're wondering what keys e3 has look no further than the eboots that they released. They at least have 3.7x keys, no doubt qbout it. The question is what keys have they reversed so far and I'm assuming that their app signer / keys which are to be released in a package may be free for flasher buyers 0day or maybe free for all... Point is this, just because a bunch of stuff is reversed doesn't mean that there aren't a ton of other security measures in newer firmware which could take some serious time. The way ps3 scene has been working though, we will probably get one person fixing each thing and then one person will finish and be heralded as the new champion. R.I.p.
