mind explaining why not that i doubt you been gone for a while from the ps scene and jumped into the xb scene for a bit but since i got this ps for dirt cheap wanted to see it i could do something with it which isnt a big deal if i cant my bro has a downgrade able one that i can swap out with him

so is it just hardware related ? hence why we cant dual boot ?

I'll give you an example if a ps3 comes with 3.15 as minimum system software you can downgrade down to that firmware. 3000 ps3 models comes with 3.60 + minimum system software so it cannot be downgraded to 3.55 and yeah it is hardware related.

You can't. Because you have to first downgrade to dual boot. The flash on the e3 flasher needs to be a copy of your flash. So you would need to downgrade, copy flash to e3, then upgrade the ps3 flash.

So not possible.

Can somebody tell me why can't we 'downgrade' a ofw 4.21 to dex 4.21 and why 3.55 is needed for dex conversion?
