Just tried BCES00569 GT5 EUR and repacked the last update with edited param.sfo and eboot.bin, but when I try to start the GT5 it tells me to update to 3.60?!?!?

Why is that? How does it know that?

Are you using a spoofer?

When I tried mod tekken, it said i needed 3.60 etc, so I installed 4.11 spoof and it avoided that altogether, otherwise you need to edit the param.sfo I think to change it for 3.40 - 3.41 etc

Good TUT and props to all the people who have been doing fixes.

Does anyone know if you can make the Eboot unsigned.?
I have a feeling I just need to change something in the .bat file but I can´t figure it out.
I tried taking out --encrypt EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.BIN in the parameters but then I don´t get an Eboot.bin file. I do have the unecrypted uncompressed .elf file but I´d like to convert it to eboot without the signing. better yet just unsign the eboot and leave it as is.
any ideas?

I was having problems trying to fix the updates with SCETOOLGUI yesterday until I went the dos route with SCETOOL.EXE which fixed the update but now I'm getting:

"you cannot play this game at the current video output setting 80028f10" ??
