the last time i heard good news on ps3 i had to get one for myself since then we've been handicapped ... hope the inevitable is around the corner... Sony is one hell of a tough ***** !!!!!

I think this tool is broken, cuz I cannot even get a working GT5 update eboot.bin which should not be that difficult! and I am quite sure the eboot.bin is broken and was originally signed with 3.60! is there any other tool that can sign and resign 3.60 eboots reliably?

of course I did. installed the latest updates, edited param.sfo and resigned eboot.bin with 3.41 keys. still error 80010009. seems to me the Ps3 Tool GUI does not what it's supposed to do ?!
I chose "DECRYPT AND RESIGN FOR..." but I cannot even select what to resign for. it automatically resigns for 3.41 Last edited by naddel81; 08-03-2012 at 09:26 AM. |

I'm pretty sure thats a good thing? Doesnt it signs for 3.41 so it will work on 3.55 too?
I could be wrong but it seemed to work fine for me...

If it is signed for a lower FW than you are on, it will work just fine.

How do you create valid update PKGs or just eboot.bins (cuz that is the file that really matters)? |
